Prohibited Items

Please take note that we follow strictly to this list of items that cannot be import into Singapore and export out from the destination countries as indicated below. Please check this list often for any updates to prevent any delay in your packages.


The following commodities are not acceptable for transport by iloveprettybags under any circumstances.

• Articles, publications of a pornographic or obscene nature
• Animals
• Antiques (breakable and/or fragile)
• Asbestos
• Bullion
• Currency
• Chewing gum
• Chewing tobacco and imitation tobacco products (e.g. electronic cigarettes, etc)
• Cigarette lighters in shapes of pistols or revolvers
• Controlled drugs and psychotropic substances
• Explosives, poisons, radioactive material, compressed gas, corrosive, firearms, flammables and any item which by its nature can potentially cause damage to other items or expose regulatory and customs officers to injury.
• Endangered species of wildlife and their by-products
• Firecrackers
• Firearms, parts thereof and ammunition
• Furs
• Hazardous or combustible materials (as defined in IATA Regulations)
• Human remains, including ashes
• Jewelry, precious metals and stones
• Laser pointers (Requires appropriate licenses from NEA)
• Narcotics (illegal)
• Reproduction of copyright publications, video tapes, video compact discs, digital video discs, laser discs, records or cassettes
• Seditious and treasonable materials
• Seed/life plant (Requires phytosanitary certificate from the country of origin and an import permit from AVA)
• Visual media (films, video tapes, discs) that are banned in Singapore by the MDA (Please refer to MDA's Media Classification database to determine whether a product is banned)
